Question 1

Why choose TYPHON Machinery for mini excavators and skid steers in the USA?

Accepted Answer

TYPHON Machinery combines world-class industrial powertrains (genuine Japanese Kubota D902 diesel and American Cummins QSF2.8 turbo-diesel engines) with heavy robotic welding and direct factory-backed pricing. All units are inspected and shipped nationwide from Commerce, California with 1-Year Factory Warranty and full domestic parts availability.

Question 2

What engine powers TYPHON TERROR mini excavators?

Accepted Answer

The flagship TYPHON TERROR XVII PRO (Cabin and Canopy) is powered by a high-torque, 3-cylinder liquid-cooled Japanese Kubota D902 diesel engine (11.8 kW / 15.8 HP) with EPA Tier 4 Final certification, paired with a Taifeng axial plunger pump and Lufthansa pilot joysticks.

Question 3

What is the difference between tracked and wheeled skid steers?

Accepted Answer

The TYPHON STOMP 65 Tracked (CTL) distributes weight over continuous rubber tracks yielding 4.1 PSI ground pressure for deep mud, sand, and steep slopes. The STOMP 65 Wheeled delivers rapid 10 km/h (6.2 mph) travel speeds, 2,200 lbs rated load capacity, and lower tire operating costs on asphalt and hard surfaces.

Question 4

Can a mini excavator be towed without a CDL license in the USA?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Compact mini excavators weighing 2,000 to 4,000 lbs (such as TYPHON TERROR III, IV, and XVII PRO) on a standard tandem trailer can be legally towed behind half-ton or three-quarter-ton pickup trucks without a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in most US jurisdictions.

Question 5

What attachments are compatible with TYPHON mini excavators and skid steers?

Accepted Answer

TYPHON mini excavators come standard with dual auxiliary hydraulic boom lines to power hydraulic thumbs, planetary earth augers, hydraulic rock breakers, and tilt buckets. TYPHON STOMP skid steers feature the Universal Skid Steer Quick Attach (SSQA) plate and up to 31.7 GPM hydraulic flow to operate brush cutters, root grapples, trenchers, and pallet forks.

Question 6

Where does TYPHON Machinery ship from in the United States?

Accepted Answer

All TYPHON machinery, attachments, and genuine replacement spare parts are stocked, inspected, and shipped directly from our primary USA distribution and service warehouse in Commerce, CA 90040.
